イントロダクション Introduction

アカデミック・フィルムセンター（AFC）は、1958年にアカデミック・シネクラブとして設立された。その長い歴史においてユーゴスラビアにおける最も重要で、多くの賞を受賞しているシネマクラブとなったが、それはAFCの製作スタジオでフィルムやビデオ作品を制作した数多の作家たちの努力による。1976年以降センターは、ベオグラードの市立学生文化センターの一部門として機能している。また、AFCは「オルタネイティブ映画アーカイブ」を運営しており、700以上のユーゴスラビアおよびセルビアのアヴァンギャルド映画／ビデオ作品の貴重なコレクションを保有している。

このプログラムは、ユーゴスラビア映画黄金時代（1960-70年代）に実験映画やオルタネイティブ映画を創作したAFC作家たちの第一世代に主に焦点を当てたものである。多くの作家にとって、実験映画制作は、より職業的な映画制作の道への入り口となった。


Academic Film Center (AFC) was founded in 1958 under the name of Academic Cine Club. Through its long history it became one of the most significant and most awarded film clubs in Yugoslavia, owing to the efforts of numerous authors who created their films and videos in the AFC production studio. Since 1976 the Center operates as a part of Students’ City Cultural Center in Belgrade. AFC also runs an Archive of alternative films, which holds a precious collection of more then 700 works of Yugoslav and Serbian avant-garde cinema and video.

This program focuses mainly on the first generation of AFC authors, who created experimental and alternative films in the golden era of Yugoslav cinema(1960-1970’s). For many of them, experimental film practice provided an entryinto the field of professional cinema production.
